This is a monthly class, offered by the Cancer Risk Program of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, for individuals who are interested in learning about genetic risk for cancer. Topics include breast and ovarian cancer risk factors; genetic susceptibility risk factors; cancer susceptibility genes BRCA 1&2 and genetic testing; guidelines for early detection of breast and ovarian cancer.
